FWD
In the FWD class, TQ spot would be secured by Sam Law, after a fantastic drive in Q1 in wet and drying condition and Q2 in dry and improving conditions. Schumacher’s Andy Murray would push him hard from a lower heat though, and would take the top spot in Q3, setting the FWD, Bedworth track record in the process. Andy was completing some development work and running with a prototype Schumacher FWD chassis.
Andy’s strong qualifying was enough to line up second on the grid for the FWD A final behind the Rapid Sam Law. The 3 leg finals saw a thrilling battle between the two drivers, with Sam driving a faultless leg 1 with huge pressure throughout. In Leg’s 2 and 3, Andy could make clean passes in the infield section, during 2 more race long battles between the two.  Giving Andy the overall win after the three legs.
Congratulation’s must go to Shane Chipolina for completing the podium with some fantastic finals from p5 on the grid.

Other notable mentions must go to the son of top UK Schumacher driver, Alfie Hart for finishing a fantastic P2 in the D final and making huge progress all season and securing U13 junior 2wd champion 1st year racing at National level!

Well done also to Schumacher’s Mark Young for completing a strong season in P17 using the Mission FT chassis and to Schumacher’s Aaron Rose and Nathan Goodban for strong B final positions on the day.
A special mention to Jonas Flannagan also for huge progress during his first year of RC racing, using a Mission FT. Keep up the great work!

Formula 1
The Formula 1 class qualifying was sealed by multiple national champion Luke Lee. It was not straight forward however, with his Brother, and Schumacher’s top UK formula racer taking the last round of qualifying in a time only 0.03 off Luke’s best run.

The finals for the Formula 1 class would go the way of the champion, Luke Lee, with Michal and his Icon2 chassis following closely behind in second place. Schumacher’s Matthew Tunks would qualify and finish in P6.

Congratulations to all involved in the series.
