Job Vacancy – Mechanical Product Design Engineer

Schumacher Racing are the leading British manufacturer of radio controlled model cars. For over 40 years we have been producing high performance RC cars and accessories for the racing and hobby markets. We are expanding our engineering team, and now require a mechanical product design engineer.

Requirements are:

Experienced 2D and 3D CAD designer. Creo and surface modelling experience preferred.

Knowledge of Illustrator and Excel.

Good understanding of manufacturing processes, material specifications, and tolerances, of metal and plastic parts.

Experience of bills of materials, technical documentation, and quality control.

Knowledge of RC cars would be an advantage.
