US Grand Prix 2020

The annual US GP took place for the third time this past weekend. It was once again held in CT at RC Madness.
Chris Marcy and his team of people had done a superb job at preparing the track and facilities ready for this event.
Schumacher spec tires were of course the nominated tire for this event, and it worked really well.
Friday was a day of practice and many drivers turned up for this. In the end there were almost 130 entries across all classes.

Qualifying took place on Saturday, we completed 2 rounds of 18 heats without any problems. Sunday was a bit more challenging as we had wet track conditions all day.   We were very impressed with the racers attitudes, they all tried new things to adapt to the racing surface. We used the qual points format so in the end last round was slower for everyone.

There were some very close qualifying times, which would mean some superb finals.  After all of the racing action, here are the A Final results:

Once all of the racing had finished it was then on to the trophy presentation, a huge well done to all of the trophy winners.  There was also a raffle draw with superb prizes donated by both Schumacher and RC Madness. Congratulations to all of the lucky winners, enjoy your prizes.
