Schumacher Italy Trophy

This weekend saw the Schumacher Italy Trophy take place at the RC Landia track in Scandiano (RE).
Due to a lack of interest in 4wd in Italy, all entries were concentrated in the 2wd category.
Despite the unusual weather conditions, with snow and frost forcing some drivers to stay home, The race was attended by a strong calibre of drivers with high level off road drivers like Davide Ongaro and Elliot Boots in attendance.
The finals saw a good performance from the Schumacher team, with four Schumacher drivers making the A final,  Alessio Tolomelli in 4th position at his second big off road race. Davide Mischiatti in 5th place, Cristiano Magri in 8th place and Lorenzo Bigi in 10th.
Davide Ongaro would take the win, with Guiseppe Fermi 2nd and UK entrant Elliot Boots in 3rd.
