DHI Cup Report

09 January 2018

The DHI Cup 2018 was an excellent event for the Schumacher Team.  Michal Orlowski dominated both 2WD and 4WD Off Road classes with his Cougar KC and 4WD prototype, TQ and winning both.

New signing Jorn Neumann had little time with his new cars before the event, so was getting up to speed with his new rides ahead of larger challenges of the EOS series and Reedy Race.  In 2WD Jorn qualified 4th and after some issues in the finals and general bad luck ended up 9th overall.

In 4WD Michal was up front again, but this time Jorn was getting closer, qualifying 4th again but with a better set of finals getting more comfortable with the cars, netted him 2nd behind Michal even with a win in leg 1 of the final.

Moving on to Touring Cars, Schumacher's Elliott Harper was in attendance and having a flying weekend amongst some of the worlds best.  Elliott qualified 3rd behind the Yokomo's of Ronald Volker and Yannic Prumper, but ahead of Marc Rheinard.  In the finals Elliott was very unlucky and just missed out on the podium finishing 4th, an excellent result given the level of competition.

So all in all a very successful event for the Schumacher factory drivers and also some notable results for the rest of the team.

All the Set Up's are now available in Manuals/Setup's.

With some more big races coming up it’s an exciting time for the team.
