CAT K2 Sweeps BRCA NE Regional

01 July 2016

Schumacher drivers Neil Adamson, Jeff Steele and Chris Pattinson took home all of the spoils from the 4wd North East regional in South Shields.
The Schumacher lads took away TQ, A final win, top Vet, and all three podium positions. A great result.
The three Hobbywing powered Schumacher cars were fast, consistent and reliable all day.

Chris Pattinson took TQ and started pole in the A final, with Neil Adamson developing pace as the day went on to take 2nd on the grid. Jeff Steele qualified 5th on the grid, securing the top vet position.

The final was clean and fast at the front, with Chris leading round for the first few minutes, under heavy pressure from Neil. A great pass from Neil meant Chris was then chasing, and he regained the lead within the next lap after a rare mistake from Neil. Another great clean pass followed restoring Neil's lead ahead of Chris, however a mistake from Neil, and an opportunistic pass from Chris, resulted in Chris' car at the mercy of a marshalling error, allowing Jeff through, and Chris down to 6th place. Neil then showed a clean pair of heels to the rest of the field, with Jeff and Chris recovering to 2nd and 3rd respectively, with only 0.2 seconds between the cars as they crossed the line.

Full A Final results were:

1 - Neil Adamson - Schumacher K2
2 - Jeff Steele - Schumacher K2
3 - Chris Pattinson - Schumacher K2
4 - Philip Carrick
5 - Richard Coates - Schumacher K2
6 - James Chappell
7 - Chris Green - Schumacher K2
8 - Mark Graham
9 - Martin Heward - Schumacher K2
10 - Chris Clarke

Also a big well done to B final winner, Schumacher driver Natalie Williams, dominating a very competitive B final.

Congratulations from all at Schumacher!
