Busy start to 2016 for Orlowski

15 February 2016

Schumacher's young star Michal Orlowski has kicked the season off in strong style! In the first 5 weeks of the year he has attended the DHI Cup in Denmark, Reedy Race in California, EOS and ETS both in Germany!

A busy schedule that has netted some great results, especially in the Off Road classes.

The DHI cup saw a win in 2WD with the KF2 SE and a second place in 4WD with the new CAT K2.  The Reedy Race in California was certainly super tough conditions on which Michal is not used to, low grip dirt in the Americans back yard and unusual Reedy Race format.  Michal finished a respectable 17th /combined 2WD and 4WD class result/ out of 30 invitational runners. Worth to mention is perfect pace in 4WD class and new Schumacher’s K2 car. It was first dirt race with K2 car and so strong performance just from the start. Michal and race engineer Trish Neal learnt a lot about the conditions for the future.

EOS in Germany, most competitive ever with 170+ entries in 2WD and 4WD classes, saw Michal make both A mains again with a 7th in 4WD and excellent podium 3rd in 2WD.

ETS this weekend just gone and a 15th place with the Mi5evo in a mega competitive field separated by a few seconds!

Michal's important set up's can be found in Technical Info.

This weekend he will be with us in the UK for the ICC race in Essex which should be a great event.
