Indoor Off Road Masters Rd 3

14 January 2016

The third round of the Worksop Series took place this past weekend, once again attracting a huge entry. 15 full heats of drivers were taking part so it was a great event.

The track was very fast and open and as usual well designed by James Helliwell - thanks James!

Schumacher control tyres as always are used at this series, this being the Yellow Mini Pin all round on the car or the Schumacher Yellow Mini Pin 2 rear tyre.

Round by round qualifying was the order of the day, with the best 2 results from 4 rounds of qualifying counting towards the final position.  Schumacher's Danny Mcgee took a great TQ and win in 2WD with plenty of Schumacher cars filling the main.  Richard Lowe took a good second ahead of Neil Cragg.

After all of the racing action the A Final 2wd result was:

1 Danny McGee  Schumacher
2 Richard Lowe  Associated
3 Neil Cragg  Associated
4 Craig Collinson Team C
5 Allan O Brien  Team C
6 James Helliwell Schumacher
7 Eugene Galley  Schumacher

Danny capped off a great day with 3rd in 4WD, behind Neil Cragg and Richard Lowe.
