This weekend saw the 11th and 12th round of the Southern Inter Club Challenge, having been outdoors for most of the summer the drivers returned to the indoor comforts of DMCRC in Poole, Dorset. 11 Heats kept the club busy for the day, included in this were 2 heats of GT12 fighting out round 3 and 4 of the South GT12 regional championship.

From Round 1 Team Schumacher Driver Marcus Askell stamped down his authority by setting TQ by a lap and continued to do so in Rounds 2 and 3, with Lesro Models and Supastox drivers John Pryor in 2nd and Stuart Parnell in 3rd, Mark Parnell finished in 4th at the end of qualifying making it a Schumacher Supastox top 4.

The first of the finals saw Marcus break away from John and the following pack with Stuart, Mark and Jason Dockree chasing for 3rd. Stuart finally broke a gap from Mark and Jason then bad luck for John on the last lap when a transmitter battery failed meant that Marcus took the first final from Stuart in 2nd. John finished in 3rd and another Supastox driver Sam Exton managing to finish infront of Mark and Jason.

The second final saw a similar story this time with Marcus, John and Stuart all breaking away from the chasing pack. A mistake by Stuart let John break away and stayed 5 sec infront for most of the 2nd half of the final, Marcus had broken away from the pair and again took the win, John 2nd and Stuart 3rd with Mark 4th. Due to the countback John took 2nd ahead of Stuart in 3rd with Marcus taking the overall win.

Meanwhile in boosted touring car Schumacher team driver John Pape lead the field, taking the TQ and both wins for 1st ahead of Stuart Webb in 2nd and another Schumacher Mi5evo driver Tim Woron in 3rd.
