BRCA Micro National

The Hinckley club hosted the final race of the British micro 4WD off road nationals series.
After a very close championship 3 drivers were in with a chance of the title, Craig Harris and Phil Sleigh, both driving Carisma, and Andy Jones driving for Schumacher/LC Racing. Craig Harris TQ’d from Andy Jones with Phil Sleigh only 7th on the grid and with a lot of work to do. Craig pulled out an early lead but then a mistake allowed Andy through to lead for several laps, before a small error allowed Craig to nip through a gap and take the race win and championship from Andy Jones and Phil Sleigh.
2013/14 has been a season of record entries for micro off road which is mostly a winter indoor racing class, although several clubs will keep racing during the summer. Congratulations to all.
