Schumacher Indoor Masters

15 October 2013

Last weekend saw the famous Schumacher Indoor Off Road Masters Series begin. With a fantastic entry of just over 130 and the meeting full it was sure to be a great event for the opening round of the Series.
The event as always had a mixture of both 2wd and 4wd 1/10th off road buggies.
The track was nice and flowing and had some nice features in it, it was very driveable, however it was also a fairly quick track that was very rewarding when you got it all hooked up.
In 2wd Craig Collinson took pole position on the grid for the A final and managed to convert this into a great drive under so much pressure for the full 5 minutes to eventually take the win, the crowd watched on as he soaked up all the pressure all race from both Neil Cragg and Greg Williams who was both never more than a few car lengths behind him all race.
In 4wd it was a totally different story, Neil Cragg secured pole position for the A Final in what can only be called complete domination by taking victory in all 4 qualifying rounds, Neil also continued to show his true form and skill to go on to win the final by over 10 seconds, Richard Lowe was 2nd and new Schumacher signings Nathan Waters and James Helliwell 3rd and 4th. A special mention has to be said for Ben Jemison, with his best qualifying ever at Worksop to line up 2nd on the grid just behind his team mate, some great skills!

With round 1 over we can all look forward to round 2 which takes place on Sunday 10th November. Spaces are still available to please get your entry and payment sent in ASAP.
