Mi4 Wins final French National

01 October 2009

The fifth and last round of French National Championship was this year in Montbrison, the track which welcomed the European Championship in 2007.

In modified class, Alex Laurent took the TQ in the last round of qualifying just in front of Loic Jasmin and Cyril N’diaye. The Mi4 worked very well on this very different track. Indeed his TQ was 2 seconds slower than the TQ of the EC two years ago. Patrick Milta was also in A main in 10th place with the MI4 too.

In stock, Rémi Couvreur won 5 of the 6 round of qualify for his first race in 2009 on a MI3.5 he discovered. Alex Deshays was qualified in 9 th place.

In lipo challnge, Michel Berty was qualify second with his Mi4.

In both categories, gap between drivers was very small, less than 10 seconds separated the first and the tenth…

Finals had been quiet for schumacher drivers. Alex Laurent and Remi Couvreur won the two first  finals and so , won this last round of french championship in modified and in stock.

In lipo, Michel Berty finished third.

Congratulations from all at Schumacher.
